1. What selfmap.io Is

selfmap.io is a self-reflection tool designed to help you understand your financial and emotional patterns. It is not a medical service, and does not provide professional advice, counseling, or any form of clinical assessment.

The scores, insights, and recommendations provided are for self-reflection purposes only and should not be used as a substitute for professional financial or mental health support.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use selfmap.io. By using our services, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

3. Accounts and Data

• You may use certain tools (quizzes, habit logger) without creating a formal account. A session-based profile is created automatically.
• If you provide your email, it is used solely to deliver your results, insights, and updates you opted into.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.
• You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@selfmap.io.

4. Free and Pro Tiers

• Free tier includes the Financial Anxiety Quiz, score results, social comparison, pattern insights, and the Daily Habit Logger. These are genuinely useful and not artificially limited.
• Pro tier is a paid subscription that includes personalized 4-week action plans, AI-powered weekly insights, and progress tracking. Payments are processed by LemonSqueezy.
• Pro subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of your current billing period.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact hello@selfmap.io if you have concerns.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use selfmap.io for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to access other users' data or interfere with the platform's infrastructure.
• Scrape, crawl, or extract data from selfmap.io in bulk.
• Misrepresent selfmap.io results as professional or clinical assessments.
• Use automated tools to submit quiz responses or create fake accounts.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on selfmap.io — including quizzes, algorithms, text, design, and branding — is owned by selfmap.io. You may share your personal results (score cards, insights) freely, but you may not reproduce or redistribute our tools, content, or methodologies.

7. AI-Generated Content

Pro features use AI (Google Gemini) to generate personalized insights based on your data. AI-generated content is provided as-is for self-reflection purposes. It may occasionally contain inaccuracies or generic suggestions. It is not professional advice.

8. Affiliate Links

selfmap.io may recommend third-party tools (e.g., YNAB, Monarch Money) through affiliate links. If you sign up through these links, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We only recommend tools we genuinely believe are helpful. Affiliate relationships do not influence your quiz results or insights.

9. Limitation of Liability

selfmap.io is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any decisions you make based on your quiz results, insights, or recommendations. If your score indicates significant distress, we encourage you to seek professional support — selfmap.io is a starting point for awareness, not a replacement for professional help.

10. Service Availability

We aim to keep selfmap.io available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. For Pro subscribers, we will provide reasonable notice before removing paid features.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of selfmap.io after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
